M33, also known as the Triangulum Galaxy, is one of our nearest neighbors at around 2.6 million light years - just a bit farther from the Milky Way than Andromeda. M33 is half the size of the Milky Way at 50,000 ly across and only about 10% as massive, but it is an incredibly active galaxy with numerous hydrogen emission nebula visible along the spiral arms as well as thousands of young, hot, blue stars.

Takahashi NJP Temma II, Takahashi TSA-102 at f/6, Takahashi Epsilon 130, FLI Microline 8300, Optec 8nm H-alpha filter. 330 minutes total exposure time.
